Club Open Day

Last Sunday was our club opening day and although it was a wet and windy day we got our game in. The opening jack was rolled by our current Mens champion Karl Vandersluys and the first bowl was rolled by our Ladies champion Jan Pass.

The day started with the ‘spider’ which was won by Helen Miskell and ended with the delayed presentations to all the championship winners and the announcement of our Mens and Ladies individual best bowler awards. The Win Hall medal was shared and presented to Chris Bolt and Maggie Newton while the Waiklin medal was presented to Karl Vandersluys. Congratulations to all three.

We now look forward to the new season with high expectations.
